Enrollment Schedule:
Monday, January 23, 2012– Enrollment is open to currently enrolled students in the Preschool, Mother’s Day Out program, and to HUMC church members. Applications will be accepted weekdays 8:00am -12:00pm. Registration is on a “first come” basis.

Enrollment Procedures:
Return the completed application along with the non-refundable application fee of $155.00 to the Preschool office. Please make checks payable to Hernando UMC Preschool. The application fee covers all of your child’s school supplies, field trips, school t-shirt, tote bag and all parties. The registration fee has been increased to include our parties.

All students will need to have a Mississippi Certificate of Immunization (Form 121) on file by August 10, 2012.

Extended Care:
Mother’s Day Out offers extended care on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4k/5k students. Early Bird will be offered again if there is enough interest. For a fee of $70 a month, you may drop off your child at 7:30 am each morning.

Three Year Old Kindergarten:
We have a 3 day a week program for children who turn 3 on or before September 1, 2012. We meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm. Children are expected to be potty-trained before the first day of school. Lovies and Pacifiers are discouraged. Pupil/teacher ratio is 2/13. Our program is based on a developmentally appropriate hands –on curriculum . The cost is $1,700 per year or may be paid monthly (August – May). Tuition is due the first of each month beginning in August and is considered late on the 10th. There is a 5% ($1,615) discount if tuition is paid in full by June 1, and a 2% ($1,666) discount if tuition is paid in full by August 6, 2012.

Four Year Old Kindergarten:
We have a 5 day a week program for children who turn 4 on or before September 1, 2012. We meet Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm. Pupil/teacher ration is 2/15. The cost is $2,050 per year or may be paid monthly (August – May). Tuition is due the first of each month beginning in August and is considered late on the 10th. There is a 5% ($1,904.75) discount if tuition is paid in full by June 1, and a 2% ($1,964.90) discount if tuition is paid in full by August 6, 2012.

Five Year Old Kindergarten:
We have a 5 day a week kindergarten program for children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2012. The class will meet Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm. There is a Mississippi Certified Kindergarten Teacher as well as a qualified assistant. The maximum number of students in the classroom will be 10. Students in this program will follow the Kindergarten Guidelines set by the Mississippi Department of Education and Desoto County Schools. The cost is $2,400 per year or may be paid monthly (August – May). Tuition is due the first of each month beginning in August and is considered late on the 10th. There is a 5% ($2,280) discount if tuition is paid in full by June 1, and a 2% ($2,352) discount if tuition is paid in full by August 6, 2012.
