Please NOTE: Route 56 is now on summer break from meeting on Sunday nights. We will begin again in Fall of 2012! We WILL continue meeting through summer during the Sunday school hour on Sunday mornings. Thanks!

Route 56 is HUMC's program designed especially for 5th and 6th graders. We know that in the journey of life, these "in-between" years can sometimes be hard, so we have tailor-made this group to help ease the transition from "children" to "youth."

Sunday mornings:
Rt. 56 is our unique program for the tweens in our church. Although Rt. 56 has their very own Sunday School class led by Gwyn Young and Amy Chatham it is much more than a Sunday School class. They meet in the Rt. 56 Room which is the 1st room on the left inside the Youth Area for Sunday School each Sunday morning.
Sunday School meets at 9:45 in room 606

Route 56 on Sunday Nights:
Every Sunday evening during the school year they meet in the Youth Room for Rt. 56 Sunday Nights. On Sunday nights they enjoy a Bible study, fellowship, sometimes food and always fun. This group also takes GREAT field trips that include Cedar Hills Farms, The Memphis Zoo, Sky Zone, Incredible Pizza and many more. Come and be a part of this great group!!
