Called to be the Church:  A Study of Ephesians:  New Sunday School study beginning August 6. Join us in Room 308 for a new Sunday school study on Paul's letter to the Ephesians. This study takes learners through Paul's grand vision of the Church as Christ's body, a people called to be holy and blameless in love. Come, and be a part as we dive deep in one of Paul's most beloved letters as we seek to understand how God is calling us to live as the Church today. The class is designed for those who are not currently part of a Sunday school class or for those who are interested in a part subject/study and want to come be a part of this group on a short-term basis.  All are welcome!

New Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study to start August 9th at 9:30 am- Learning Contentment in a Culture of More:  Imagine being on the verge of realizing all your dreams, but all you can focus on is how long it took to get where you are. It's hard to relate to the story in the Book of Numbers about a group of people who wandered in the desert for forty years, unable to enter the Promised Land because of their grumbling and complaining…until we take a closer look at ourselves. In this six-week women's Bible study, you'll learn how God can fill the ache inside of you and help you focus on faith in the midst of life's joys and pains. Childcare will be provided.  Cost of the Book: $12.50 See Amy to purchase your book before class starts as there is reading to complete before the first session.

The study is ideal for busy people who want to fit an in-depth Bible study into their schedule.  The daily assignment is to read just 1 or 2 chapters a day outside of our class time.  This is a great way to dive deeper into a study of one of the Gospels and continue to the start of the church.
Isaiah: Ch. 40-55  (Bro. David’s Wednesday Night Connections Study)
Beginning Wednesday, August 16th, 5:30-6:45 pm
                                            Cost:  $15.00
The book of Isaiah is centered on the theme of servanthood. Just as Isaiah had his lips cleansed so he could speak a message to the nation, so the nation of Judah was to experience a similar fiery cleansing so it could convey God's message to the world. During this time, the Judean people asked many of the same questions we ask today.  Has God rejected us? Is God capable of delivering us? If God wants to deliver us, both from circumstances and    from our sins, and he can deliver us, is he actually going    to deliver us? In this study, Dr. John Oswalt takes learners on a deep dive into chapters 40-55, where we discover
that often we experience the fire of captivity is not for the purpose of destroying us, but rather for the purpose of cleansing us and revealing to us the strength and   sovereignty of God.  Led by Bro. David Cox
