Shepherd's Center will meet at HUMC on Thursday, May 10th at 10:00.
At each meeting, there's time for fellowship over snacks, a short business meeting, announcements from other churches and civic groups, trips planned to see plays/movies at a reduced price, and entertainment. Brother Mike Dhority will be singing "golden oldies" at the May 10th meeting. Please join us.

UMW Cookbooks for Sale:
The United Methodist Women are selling the HUMC cookbook at $20 per book. The cookbooks make great wedding shower presents, or great gifts for Mother's Day or Father's Day. The money from the proceeds are used to purchase supplies and furnishings for the children, youth and adult sunday school rooms at the church. The books can be purchased from the UMW display on the table near the chapel in the north side of the building.

Vacation Bible School Registration Begins May 13:
VBS at HUMC will be June 24-27, from 5:30-8:00 pm for kids age 3-5th grade. Family Night will be on June 24, at 5:30 pm. Our theme this year is "Rocky Point Lighthouse: Where Kids Shine God's Light." Kids will begin to be registered on May 13. Registration forms will be available, or you can register online at www.hernandoumc.org. Volunteers are needed and may register to help now. Please contact Kris Dorr if you would like to be involved at this year's VBS.

Senior Sunday is May 20:
We will honor our high school seniors on Sunday, May 20. Parents: If you have a high school senior we ask you to get pictures and information about your graduate to Catherine Case and Chris Camp this week.
